Lycodon Aulicus - Common Indian Wolf Snake

Common Indian Wolf Snake  Lycodon is derived from two Greek words Lykos means - Wolf and Odon meaning tooth. Mainly nocturnal. Good climbers. Rescue and released.  Jan 2021 first Rescue.  Common Indian Wolf Snake - Lycodon Aulicus  Type:- Non venomous I was fortunate to see this species during this time of the year, not very active due to winter season. To see the snakes in Mount Abu the best time summer to end of monsoon season. There are 18 species of snakes found in Mount Abu.

Aravalli Range Ariel view. Yesterday evening, I got a call from my clients who are interested in doing a short hike and then leave on the way to Barmer North East of Rajasthan.  We were ready early morning hours to drive up to the highest peak of Rajasthan the Aravalli Range.
